OUR STORY
A lifelong passion, on a dream wave.
I’ve been in love with the water since I was 4 years old, starting out on a little Styrofoam board.
Every morning at 6:00 am, my dad was out waterskiing with his friends behind his MasterCraft, and all I wanted was to do the same. Watersports have been my passion ever since.
When I came to Cancún and saw this water for the first time, I was in shock. I said, “This would be a dream to wake surf here. I’ve never seen water like this.” So I opened Wake Surf Cancun.
What a journey it’s been. Running a surf boat in salt water is a totally different game from the lakes up north: washing the boat every day, a different engine setup, and filling the ballast without ever using salt water.
Years later, we have the ultimate setup. An experienced pro surfer, a professional captain and an owner who does it all for the love of surfing. If you want to wake surf in Cancún, this is the place.

THE BOAT
MasterCraft X Star. Renovated. Better than new.
Our X Star has been fully renovated from top to bottom, and it rides better than the new boats. The boat is built for 12, but we keep every charter to 8 guests so there’s plenty of room to relax between rides.
We run this model on purpose: parts reach Cancún fast, so we spend our days on the water, not waiting at the dock.
